Examples and prices: How much does the construction of a new connection point cost?
Setting up a new connection point ensures a stable and high-speed internet connection exactly where you need it. The price depends on several factors: distance, terrain, necessary permits and the complexity of the construction. The cost may also be influenced by crossings with roads, waterbodies or other utility lines, as well as by the need to obtain land use agreements. To give you a better overview, we have provided four real examples of completed projects and their final costs.
Design of a communications line along a street area with multiple crossings
A new 58-metre communications line needs to be designed along a street area. The work must take into account two driveways and several existing utility line crossings. A 58-metre microduct bundle will be installed and a connection point established. The optical cable will be blown into the connection point from a distance of 120 metres. In addition, a customer line will be installed from the connection point to the house, using a protective conduit prepared by the customer.
Price (actual best offer):
Total: 5659 €

Design of a communications line along a road
A new 280-metre communications line needs to be designed along the road. A 280-metre microduct bundle will be installed and a connection point established. The optical cable will be blown into the connection point from a distance of 400 metres. No customer line was requested.
Price (actual best offer):
Total: 13379 €

Design of a communications line along a road and paved dead-end street
A new 138-metre communications line needs to be designed along the road and mostly paved dead-end street. The installation is complicated by the presence of existing utility lines in the green area of the road. A 138-metre microduct bundle will be installed and a connection point established. The optical cable will be blown into the connection point from a distance of 300 metres. No customer line was requested.
Price (actual best offer):
Total: 10818 €

Design of a communications line along overhead lines across private land and a road owned by the Transport Administration
A new 209-metre communications line needs to be designed along Elektrilevi overhead lines. The utility line crosses private land and a road owned by the Transport Administration. When installing along the overhead line, the required clearances must be ensured: 7 metres when crossing the road owned by the Transport Administration. If the existing Elektrilevi line does not allow this, the pole must be replaced. A 209-metre microduct bundle for the overhead line will be installed and a connection point established. The optical cable will be blown into the connection point from a distance of 300 metres. The customer line will be installed as an overhead line.
Price (actual best offer):
Total: 4717 € (costs related to the Elektrilevi network will be added)
