Chairman of the Management Board of Enefit OÜ Juhan Aguraiuja steps down

Member of the Management Board of Eesti Energia and Chairman of the Management Board of Enefit OÜ Juhan Aguraiuja is leaving his position for personal reasons. As of 19 June, the role of Chairman of the Management Board of Enefit OÜ will be temporarily filled by Andrus Durejko, Chairman of the Management Board of the Eesti Energia Group.

Under the leadership of Juhan Aguraiuja, Enefit OÜ, part of the Eesti Energia Group, has gone through an important stage of development over the past six months. During this time, Aguraiuja has led the establishment of the electricity business organisation, appointed its management board and transitioned the organisation to a new management model.

According to Juhan Aguraiuja, the decision to leave his position was not an easy one. ‘The development of Enefit and the team are very important to me. The decision to leave is a personal one. I feel that I now need to slow down for a while and focus on myself and my family. I am leaving with the knowledge that the company is in a strong position and that the team will successfully carry forward the plans already underway,’ commented Aguraiuja.

According to Andrus Durejko, Chairman of the Management Board of Eesti Energia, Enefit will continue firmly on its course after Aguraiuja’s departure. ‘Juhan has made a significant contribution to shaping Enefit’s strategy and building up the team. Today, the company has a strong management team and a clear direction for further development. We thank Juhan for his work and respect his decision to dedicate more time to his personal life,’ said Durejko.

In addition to Chairman of the Management Board Juhan Aguraiuja, the Management Board of Enefit OÜ includes Ivar Ruubel, responsible for integrated assets, Donatas Celešius, responsible for business development, Tiit Hõbejõgi, responsible for trading and portfolio management, and Kristo Kõivumägi, responsible for sales.

Until a new Chairman of the Management Board of Enefit OÜ is appointed, the Management Board of the Eesti Energia Group will continue with three members: Andrus Durejko, Marlen Tamm and Lauri Karp.

Juhan Aguraiuja joined the Eesti Energia Group in October 2024 to lead Enefit Green. Since the beginning of 2026, Juhan Aguraiuja has served as Chairman of the Management Board of Enefit OÜ.
