Enefit is expanding its electric vehicle charging network at Selver stores
Enefit AS, in cooperation with TKM Kinnisvara AS, is installing electric vehicle charging points at Selver stores across Estonia. In the first phase, 26 chargers have been added to the retail chain’s car parks, creating a total of 52 new charging points. In total, there will be 96 charging points at Selver locations across Estonia.
The chargers vary in power, with some capable of delivering enough electricity for 100 kilometres of driving in just a few minutes. The chargers installed during the first phase are already operational in the car parks of the following Selver stores:
- Keila Selver
- Pelgulinna Selver
- Valga Selver
- Hiiumaa Selver
- Kakumäe Selver
- Viimsi Keskus
- Saare Selver
- Merimetsa Selver
- Ülejõe Selver
- Kolde Selver
At two of these locations, Ülejõe and Merimetsa Selver, 640 kW ultra-rapid chargers have also been installed, funded under the first support measure of the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF).
‘The number of electric vehicles is growing rapidly, and providing convenient charging options is our priority. We want to offer electric vehicle drivers charging points where they most frequently park their cars on a daily basis, and supermarkets are the ideal location for this,’ said Jaanus Riiner, Head of eMobility at Enefit.
According to Heigo Einblau, Development Specialist at TKM Kinnisvara AS, the chargers being installed in Selver car parks will significantly increase the availability of charging options. ‘We understand the value of our clients’ time. Working with Enefit helps us offer our customers the quickest possible charging option and contribute to building a greener, more environmentally friendly future.’
This year, Enefit will install a total of 26 new electric car chargers in selected Selver car parks, capable of charging 52 vehicles simultaneously. The chargers will be completed in stages and will come in various capacities – 22 kW, 47 kW and 240 kW – enabling fast charging for both shorter city trips and longer journeys.
All electric vehicle owners can charge at the newly opened Enefit charging points at Selver locations with a 20% discount from 11 to 15 June. You can find the exact charger locations on Enefit’s public network map.
Enefit Volt is Estonia’s largest electric vehicle charging network and is based entirely on green electricity. We are looking for location partners to invest in charging solutions on their commercial properties and work together to provide the best charging options for customers.
