Eesti Energia Supervisory Board Removes Kristjan Kuhi from the Management Board

The Supervisory Board of Eesti Energia has resolved, on the proposal of the Chairman of the Management Board, Andrus Durejko, to remove Management Board Member Kristjan Kuhi from the company’s Management Board.

Kuhi has served as a member of the Management Board since April 1, 2023, overseeing technology development and new business areas. His last working day at Eesti Energia will be November 28, 2025.

“Over the past two and a half years, Eesti Energia has developed rapidly and faced numerous complex challenges, to which Kristjan made a significant contribution. Under his leadership, we established readiness for desynchronization, entered new energy markets, and completed the Auvere battery energy storage system. I thank Kristjan for his valuable contribution to the success of Eesti Energia,” said CEO Andrus Durejko.

“I would like to thank my colleagues and partners for their trust and excellent cooperation, which enabled us to make a substantial joint contribution not only to Eesti Energia but to the development of the entire Baltic energy system. From expanding the portfolio of flexible assets and creating new technological capabilities to launching the Auvere storage facility and successfully entering new markets,” Kuhi stated.

Starting in 2026, the Management Board of Eesti Energia will consist of four members, and the business operations will be consolidated into three subsidiaries: Enefit (electricity business), Enefit Industry (industrial business), and Elektrilevi (distribution network business).

As of January 1, 2026, the Management Board will include CEO Andrus Durejko, CFO Marlen Tamm, and Lauri Karp, CEO of Enefit Industry. The fourth member will be Juhan Aguraiuja, who will lead the newly established electricity business company Enefit.
