Eesti Energia: We apologize for sending a letter with incorrect data to some customers
Eesti Energia does not terminate fixed-price packages prematurely and unilaterally. "I sincerely apologize to the customers. It was a human error. We will do our best to avoid such mistakes in the future. We will send a new information letter to customers soon, and its language and data will be correct," said Agnes Roos, a member of the board of Eesti Energia. "Eesti Energia keeps its promise, and we will not unilaterally terminate customers' fixed-price packages prematurely."
These were customers of the "Kindel" package to whom an information letter related to the universal service was sent. The letter may have had an incorrect contract termination date and language choice, for example a Russian letter was received instead of an Estonian letter.
